Introducing our brand new carbon upper bulkheads for the Mugen MTC2R!
These 2.5mm CNC machined upper bulkheads allow more flexibility on the trailing axle and provide improved traction for your MTC2 chassis! 4 different versions offer different caster settings and also upper arm lengths for more tuning.
SUB & SUBL are standard widths, SUB offers the same caster as the normal upper bulkhead, SUBL offers 0-1.9 degrees and is intended for stern use only.
WUB & WUBL offer the same caster as described above but are wider and make the upper wishbones 1mm shorter each, which can be very beneficial to improve the car's responsiveness on smaller, more technical tracks.
4 versions, which are described below
MTC2R-SUB (Standard) has the same geometry as Mugen's standard upper bulkheads, giving a caster of 3.1-5 degrees on the front axle and 1.9-4 degrees on the rear axle.
MTC2R-WUB (Standard and Wide) offers the same caster as above, however the upper arm length is 1mm shorter on each side, resulting in a more responsive car that is great for smaller tracks.
MTC2R-SUBL (Less Rear Caster) is wide as standard but has offset caster to allow for less rear caster. Currently 1.9° is the lowest caster but as cars become more aggressive and difficult to drive, reducing rear caster can extend the wheelbase and help make the car more stable and predictable while increasing traction up front. With these upper bulkheads you can reduce rear caster by 0-1.9 degrees.
MTC2R-WUBL (less rear caster and wider) offers the same caster as above but a 1mm shorter upper arm length on each side, resulting in a more responsive car, ideal for smaller tracks.
