The Schumacher FT8 - design and technical excellence.

The FT8 was developed by Schumacher's world-class engineering team to create a fast and easy-to-handle front-wheel drive touring car.

With a low center of gravity, light weight and great attention to detail, the FT8 is a pleasure to build, maintain and drive.

The FT8 has all the features and settings you need from a quality front-wheel drive car to be at the top of the podium. The FT8, drive from the front.

The FT8 in prototype form has achieved some excellent results including;
BRCA FWD National win, 2nd and 3rd places, Andy Murray, Aaron Rose and Jamie Hickin. Victory in the EWS overall championship, Shane Chipolina. 2nd and 3rd in the MiCC Championship, Aaron Rose and Jamie Hickin.


New - C/F chassis developed with the ability to adjust flex characteristics. New - Vertical servo mounting allows for a strong forward weight shift. New - The motor is placed directly behind the servo for optimal weight distribution. New - Single crank steering for a smooth feel. Compact design allows for convenient battery placement. New - 3D printed bumper with available weight options.

  • Twin top link suspension design for flexibility characteristics and caster tuning.
  • Front body height control included in the kit with an easy and simple solution.

  • Super-slim shock absorbers and a mounting arrangement designed for a super low center of gravity.
  • Both vertical and horizontal rear body mounting options included in the kit.
  • Gear housing designed to lower the center of gravity, maximize durability and optimize geometry and flexibility.
  • Anti-roll bar design lowers the center of gravity.
  • Ultra-fine adjustment eccentrics for optimal belt tension and differential height adjustment.
  • Lower bumper molding prevents the bumper from touching the road.
  • Black aluminum tie rods throughout.
  • 22 precision ball bearings.
  • Aluminum wheel hubs secured with “O” ring.
  • Hollow precision machined steel idle shaft.

  • Standard industrial size 92T 64dp pointed gear wheel supplied by Arrowmax.
