Introducing our brand new 3D Pro Carbon Hood Stiffener, compatible with the original kit bumpers for the Mugen MTC2, MTC2R and XRAY X4 models!
Our hood stiffener makes contact with the body. Reducing body flex improves downforce through the hood and windshield. This part bolts directly to the bumper and can be used with both foam and 3D printed bumpers. The screw on the top of the assembly can then be adjusted to perfectly match the height to the body. They weigh just 1.5g, making them the lightest hood stiffener on the market!
Made from 1.5mm thick carbon rod and the latest high quality, high resolution 3D printing technology for maximum rigidity and durability!
We recommend using a small amount of foam where the body meets the bracket. This will prevent the screw from sliding on the inside of the body, making the stiffening even more effective. It will also prevent the paint from peeling off the body!
