We wanted to design a body stiffener that was super light and, as a compromise, more flexible than previous versions. The result is a body stiffener that is made from completely flexible materials and weighs almost nothing!
The 3D printed parts in the middle and at the ends are printed from a flexible and basically unbreakable material, meaning they can conform to the mounting surface (roof and sides) without being under tension. The rods are 1mm in diameter and are quite flexible and strong, but still stiff enough to prevent unwanted body vibrations or wrinkles in corners or on the straights.
We are proud to say that this stiffener weighs only 1.5g with all mounting straps, making it the lightest one-piece body stiffener on the market!
The stiffener set comes pre-assembled for 190mm bodies and contains all mounting parts for installation! The stiffener is easily attached using the high-quality, pre-cut 3M double-sided adhesive tape.
The stiffener has an arrow in the middle pointing towards the front of the vehicle when fitted under the window as shown in the pictures. The stiffener can be flipped over and fitted in the middle or rear as well, giving you a variety of options, like Ronald Völker did in the photo. There is no right or wrong position, but this stiffener offers the flexibility to fit it however you want!
