Introducing our 3D Pro Carbon Ultra-Lite Body Stiffener for 1/10 EP Onroad!
Low center of gravity and aerodynamics are the big issues in touring right now. Stiffer bodies usually come at the expense of weight and center of gravity, making it difficult to have a lightweight yet stiff shell.
These one-piece stiffeners combine very thin carbon rods with the latest 3D printing technology to achieve a featherlight weight of just 2.5g! The center is attached with the included double-sided tape and the sides with the included M3 screws to provide a very light, stiff and easy to install solution.
This allows you to use lighter bodies to keep the center of gravity low, while still achieving significant rigidity that cannot be achieved with any other body thickness on the market today. The rigidity of the sides reduces any wobble or bending of the Lexan. This greatly increases the stability and handling of the vehicle at high speeds.
The plastic parts are printed at a very high resolution and with some of the highest quality filaments on the market to make them suitable for the task. The filament offers high stretchability and strength when printed on our industrial printers. The central part is rounded to follow the roof of the usual car bodies, while the side supports are shaped to provide maximum strength with minimum weight.
The stiffener kit comes pre-assembled and includes all the fasteners for installation. If you prefer, you can also attach the stiffener in the middle and on the sides using the glue commonly known as "shoe glue". The stiffeners have been subjected to extensive durability testing and have proven to be extremely strong; we have yet to have a single one break on the track!
