The Mezzo has a completely new carcass design where development has focused on the thickness of the tread to support the stylus and improve its lifespan.

The Mezzo has a varying pin pull throughout the tire, making it suitable for a wider variety of track conditions, including long and short pile Astro. The pins provide improved lateral traction while maintaining forward traction.

The Mezzo lasts longer and has better handling on bumps due to its higher sidewall profile.

The Mezzo 4WD front tire is designed for deep pile astro pavement and low clearances. The studs can be shortened if necessary to reduce traction.

For 2WD we still recommend the U6770 Low Profile Cut Stagger in combination with the Mezzo rear to achieve longer tire life.

Ultimately, the popular Dart tire might be faster in a single run under certain conditions, but the longevity is much longer with the Mezzo. It's a great all-rounder.

Ultimately, the Mezzo is designed for Astro, the yellow compound for high performance in dry conditions, the silver for wet conditions and the blue for longer life.
