Introducing our brand new 3D Pro Carbon Fiber Hood Stiffener, compatible with all bumper mounts for the A800R without compromising firewall flex!
Perfect for those lightweight car bodies, our bonnet stiffener makes contact with the body, reducing body flex and improving the downforce generated by the bonnet and windscreen directly onto the car. This part bolts directly to the bumper and can be used with both foam and 3D printed bumpers. The screw at the top of the assembly can then be adjusted to perfectly match the height to the car body. They weigh just 1.5g, making them the lightest bonnet stiffener on the market!
They can be mounted directly to any bumper plate available on the market, both carbon and plastic, using the parts provided.
Made from 1.5mm carbon rod and the latest high quality, high resolution 3D printing technology for maximum rigidity and durability!
We recommend using a small amount of foam where the body meets the bracket. This will prevent the screw from sliding on the inside of the body, making the stiffening even more effective. It will also prevent paint removal from the body!
