The current mid-engine vehicles put a huge strain on the rear belt because the two drive belts are the same length. To prevent rapid wear, RC Maker now has a belt tensioner for the rear axle in its range. The belt tensioner has a ball bearing and is milled from high-quality brass. It is easy to install and is attached to the motor mount. The intensity of the belt tensioner is adjustable, making this another very useful tuning part from RC Maker for the Awesomatix A800 MMCX (mid-engine configuration).
